Port of Tacoma Commissioners on July 16 approved authorizations related to environmental cleanup of both the Parcel 103 Steam Plant property and the Parcel 115 Tru-Grit site. Commissioners also approved an interlocal agreement with Tacoma Public Schools regarding security services at the Maritime Center and heard the first reading of an interlocal agreement with the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency to install an air monitoring station on Port property.
